Faisalabad:Non-Resident Pakistanis (NRP) in collaboration with National Center for Health Workers, 1st Farmers Holdings and Women’s Funds would organize International Summit on “Agro Tourism Development” at University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) here on September 27, 2024 (Friday).
According to Chairman Coordination NRP Muhammad Saleem Bolandia, the summit would commence at 09.00 a.m. in Expo Center UAF where international resource persons were invited to deliver keynote lectures.
He said that UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan will chair the event, whereas Dr Jalal Arif has been nominated as focal person for this summit.
He said that NRP National Coordinator for Tourism Development in Pakistan Madam Quratul Ain will welcome the participants while Chairman NRP Shahab Qarni will introduce NRP in his brief note.
Similarly, Chairman Pakistan Preventive Healthcare System Dr Maqsood Ahmad will deliver keynote lecture on “Why NRP chose Faisalabad for the pilot initiative” while Mr. Imran Shaukat
will apprise the audience about the concept and the need for a Kissan Micro Finance Bank in Pakistan.
Our focus consists of three areas including Agro Tourism, capacity development of the existing incubator with the help of NRP with B2B interactions with international collaboration and hub for tourism communications network (TCN) – a digital platform for promoting the tourism, Mr. Bolandia added.
