PESHAWAR:Information & Public Relations Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has directed all public sector organizations to clear their arrears in head of advertisements before June 25 while all those departments having funds and arrears in head of advertisements are outstanding against them should ensure payment through cheque, bank draft or pay order in the name of Director General (DG) Information.
In a statement issued here it has been stated that newspapers and advertising agencies were repeatedly contacting the Information & Public Relations Department for the payment of arrears. Therefore, the Information Department has asked all those departments lacking funds to contact the Finance Department to clear arrears against them in head of advertisements as soon as possible.
Similarly, the field formation offices of departments and district offices have also been directed to pay outstanding amounts in head of advertisements before June 15 through cheques and in case of the lapse of cheque.
The release of the advertisements of all those departments, which fail in making timely payment, would be stopped by the department.
