Lahore: Director Iqbal Academy Dr. Abdul Rauf Rafiqi visited Lahore: Press Club on Sunday and promised all help to establish Gousha-e-Iqbal and an e-library at the LPC.
Library Committee Chairman and Vice President Press Club Amjad Usmani led the members of the Library Committee to visit the Press Club library to the guest.
Dr. Rafiqi donated important books published by the academy including his PhD thesis on Dr. Allama Iqbal for the library, while he also assured support for establishment of a special Iqbal section and an e-library at club library.
Dr. Rafiqi said translations of Iqbal’s poetry and thoughts are being done all over the world and nations were benefiting from the thoughts of Pakistan’s thinker. Vice President Amjad Usmani thanked Dr. Rafiqi for coming to the club and thanked the library committee members including Tariq Kamran Saba Mumtaz Bano for inviting Dr. Rafiqi to the club.
