Faisalabad:Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director Saqib Raza has said that Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) project is providing clean drinking water to more than 200,000 people.
He said on Thursday that providing clean drinking water and upgrading the sewerage system are top priorities, for which all available resources are being utilized.
The MD said that consumers have expressed satisfaction with the water supply and quality resulting from the JICA project. He further said that the Citizen Liaison Cell (CLC) team is conducting surveys in areas such as Madina Town and Peoples Colony.
Under the survey, the CLC staff is visiting door to door to get information regarding water quality, supply timings, and other related matters in order to compile a report on consumer satisfaction.
