LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board PCB) on Monday has appointed senior journalist Alia Rashid as the new Director of Media and Communication.
Alia Rashid has been assigned this responsibility in place of Umar Farooq Kalson, who will continue to work as a media consultant.
Alia Rashid is the first woman to work as media head at PCB. Meanwhile, Rashid has been working as a sports journalist for the last 35 years.
PCB official sources told reporter that Alia Rashid’s appointment as Pakistan Cricket Board’s media director is expected to improve the board’s public relations.
