LAHORE: The Punjab government has approved renaming the under-construction Khalid Butt Chowk as Cavalry Ground Underpass.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi himself proposed the name Cavalry Ground Underpass in accordance with Cavalry.
The decision to rename the underpass was taken during the recent visit of Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi to Cavalry Ground underpass.
The Chief Minister directed the LDA and the contractors to install the signboards of the Cavalry Underpass. The work of installing signboards on the underpass will be started in the next few days. Cavalry Ground Underpass signboards will be displayed on both sides of the road and top buildings.
