Khan spreading anarchy for personal interest: PPP leader

Islamabad

ISLAMABAD:Pakistan People’s Party Senior leader Mustafa Baloch on Saturday criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and said he was trying to make national institutions controversial under a conspiracy and spreading anarchy in the country for the sake of getting power.

Imran Khan is not a true politician who has destroyed the hopes and expectations of a large number of Pakistanis, he said while talking to PTV news channel.

He further said that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan should not consider himself a leader like former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, adding, Khan only tried to divide the country for his own personal gains by feeding this conspiracy-style narrative to the nation.

Imran Khan should save Pakistan, instead of PTI, he said, adding, PPP believed in across-the-board accountability but not ready to accept political revenge under the cover of accountability.

Mustafa Baloch said that despite reservations, the PPP leadership had always respected the Supreme Court’s decisions, adding, we have to hold those accountable who are responsible for the economic disaster.

He also claimed that the Khan’s government is responsible for the worst economic situation of the country.

Replying to a Question, he replied, there is no harm if elections of both provincial assemblies and national assemblies are held on the same date, adding, the PTI leadership has been threatening institutions every day to divert the attention of the people from its foreign funding case.

Imran Khan should show respect for the state institutions instead of spreading polarization and anarchy-like situation in the country, he added.
