Lahore: A man,who was allegedly kidnapped from Johar Town a week ago,was found murdered in Pindi Bhattian, police said on Saturday.
According to police, the victim’s body namely as Haris(33) was recovered from the area while his vehicle was found parked around one-and-a-half kilometers away from the spot.
Police said the victim’s mobile phone and wallet,containing cash and bank cards were also missing.
According to police,the victim’s ATM card was allegedly used near Jalalpur Jattan a day after the recovery of his body.
Police said Hafizabad authorities had buried the body without contacting the victim’s family.
Murder charges would now be added to the case registered in connection with Haris’s alleged kidnapping,they added.
Police said an investigation into the kidnapping and subsequent murder was underway and various aspects of the case were being examined.
