Bahawalpur: After provision of funds and medical facilities, two free of cost medical operations
of kidney transplants had been conducted at Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH). According to an official press release issued here, under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, funds and medical necessary medical machinery were provided to kidney center of Bahawal Victoria Hospital Bahawalpur to conduct free of cost medical operations of poor patients. ‘Two patients were admitted to kidney center of BVH who sought transplantation of kidneys,’ it said, adding that free of cost medical operations of kidney transplant of them were conducted successfully.
It said at private hospitals, a patient has to pay Rs 2.5 million to Rs 03 million as expenditures for undergoing medical operation of kidney transplant, adding that but at kidney center of BVH, such kidney transplant medical operations are being conducted free of cost.
