KOHAT:The Kohat district administration has intensified operations on Thursday to eliminate illegal encroachments and keep roads clear for smooth public mobility.
In this connection, Additional Assistant Commissioner-I Kohat, Mudassar Khan, inspected KDA Road and issued strict directives to all encroachers, granting them a final three-day deadline to voluntarily remove all illegal encroachments.
According to the district administration, unauthorized structures, ramps, and barriers established along the roads, footpaths, and public walkways on KDA Road must be cleared immediately to ease traffic flow and resolve commuting difficulties for citizens.
The administration warned that strict legal action would be taken against violators without further notice once the three-day deadline expires, and zero tolerance will be observed regarding negligence or non-cooperation.
The initiative aims to clear public pathways, ensure uninterrupted movement for pedestrians, and improve the city’s overall traffic management system. The district administration has urged all concerned individuals to cooperate and clear the encroachments within the stipulated timeframe to avoid legal consequences.
