Kohat: Shakardara Police on Saturday arrested a suspected wanted criminal during a targeted raid as part of intensified action against criminal elements on the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kohat Rai Mazhar Iqbal.
According to police sources, Station House Officer (SHO) Shakardara Riaz Hussain, along with a police team, conducted the raid and apprehended the accused, identified as Ahmad Khan, a resident of Shakardara.
Police said the suspect was wanted in connection with multiple criminal cases registered under Sections 400, 401 and 15-AA of the relevant law.
The arrested suspect has been shifted to Shakardara Police Station, where further investigation and interrogation are in progress, police said.
