Korean delegation visits NUST SEECS

ISLAMABAD:The First Secretary of the Republic of Korea Embassy in Islamabad, Mr Lee IY visited the China-Pakistan Intelligence System Lab based at NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (SEECS) on Wednesday.

The lab has been developed with the collaboration of NUST China Study Centre (CSC) and China Academy of Science.

Principal SEECS Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan, SI(M) along with his team and CSC staff and faculty received the Korean delegation at the SEECS.

The visit included a tour of the lab and the facilities being utilised by the researchers at the China-Pakistan Intelligence System lab.

The delegation also witnessed students’ projects based at the lab.

Director CSC Ms Xiang Yang also participated in this meeting online.

Mr Lee praised the research and development at NUST and added that it was a wonderful experience witnessing the application of Chinese technology at NUST.

He also reiterated the importance of enhanced cooperation between the Republic of Korea and Pakistan for mutual benefits and shared interests.
