FAISALABAD: A sexagenarian labourer was electrocuted in the area of Sadar police station.
A Rescue 1122 spokesman said here on Monday that 60-year-old Sabir Ali, of Chak No.195-GB, was working at an under construction house in Kehkashan Colony, Jaranwala Road, where he received a fatal shock from a short-circuit machine.
As a result, he became unconscious and died on the spot before getting any kind of medical assistance.
The body was handed over to his relatives for burial after completing necessary formalities, he added.
