CHINIOT:Assistant Commissioner Lalian Habiba Bilal on Monday inspected cleanliness arrangements in village Pelowal Siddiqa under the Punjab government’s Suthra Punjab campaign and directed staff to ensure regular sanitation.
During the visit, she reviewed cleanliness in streets, markets and public places, checked staff attendance and assessed the performance of garbage collection vehicles and sanitation workers.
She directed the concerned staff to remove garbage heaps immediately, improve sanitation arrangements and ensure daily cleanliness across the village.
The assistant commissioner said the Suthra Punjab campaign was a flagship initiative of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and that negligence in its implementation would not be tolerated.
She said a clean environment was the right of every citizen and urged residents to dispose of waste at designated points and cooperate with the Suthra Punjab team.
