QUETTA:Former Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Alyani on Friday alleged that all laws were bypassed in announcing Hub as a new district of Balochistan.
Talking to journalists, outside the Balochistan High Court, former CM Balochistan said a constitutional petition has been filed with the court against the provincial government’s decision of dividing Lasbela district and making Hub a new district.
“If forming a district was inevitable, then government shall form a committee to resolve the issues arising in this connection,”
To a question, the former CM said that he did not believe in mere criticism but criticism for reform.
“Chief Minister Abdul Quddus has admitted on record that this decision was made in haste,” If the government wants, it can be included in the agenda of the cabinet and canceled again.
Opposing the decision which he called made in haste, Jam Kamal said creating a new district in Balochistan is the easiest task.
“We have resorted to the Balochistan High Court, let’s see what the court decides now,” he maintained.
