Lahore: Medical Superintendent of Lahore General Hospital (LGH) Dr. Faryad has taken disciplinary action by suspending Ward Attendant Rashid Ali for allegedly misbehaving with a patient in the Emergency Department.
This action was carried out following directives from Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique.
In response to the incident, a committee led by AMS Admin has been formed to conduct a thorough investigation. The committee has been instructed to expedite the submission of its findings.
The Health minister emphasized that unethical behavior towards patients in government hospitals is unacceptable. He assured that departmental action would be taken against those found responsible for the incident at Lahore General Hospital.
