FAISALABAD:The Livestock Department has started providing medias (Qalm) of millet (Bajra) free of cost to improve fodder quality of cattle in the division.
Director Livestock Dr Haidar Ali Khan said that Qalms of hybrid millet would be provided free of cost, which would give maximum production. In this connection, Qalms of millet would be provided to farmers of Chiniot for its cultivation over 15 acres of land.
In the next phase, the facility would be expanded to other areas, he said and advised farmers to take maximum benefit from the scheme.
