MULTAN:A 40-year-old loader rickshaw driver was killed in a road accident near Pull Ashiqabad on Muzaffargarh Road on Sunday.
According to Rescue 1122, the accident occurred when a speeding loader rickshaw went out of control, hit a road divider and overturned, leaving its driver critically injured.
The deceased was identified as Muhammad Ramzan, son of Allah Ditta. He sustained severe head injuries and died at the scene.
Upon receiving information, a Rescue 1122 team rushed to the site and provided emergency medical assistance. The rescuers also performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in an attempt to revive him, but he could not be saved.
Police were informed about the incident. However, at the family’s request that no legal action be taken, the deceased’s body was handed over to the family and shifted to their home.
