LAHORE:The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) has finalised a comprehensive cleanliness programme for 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal when the Eid Milad-un-Nabi is being celebrated.
Over 1200 diligent workers, accompanied by a team of more than 20 officers, have been working tirelessly across three shifts to ensure immaculate arrangements in line with the Rabi-ul-Awwal cleaning plan.
Under the guidance of LWMC Chief Executive Officer Babar Sahib Din, the LWMC successfully completed the meticulous cleaning of 214 mosques throughout the city. Sahib Din said the LWMC’s operational teams were ensuring clearance of the procession routes. Dedicated cleaning squads have also been deployed to areas hosting zikar and azkar events, as well as Milad-un-Nabi festivities throughout the city.
