Multan: A family dispute turned deadly in Jamal Town near 14 Number Chungi on Bahawalpur Road when a man was killed in a knife attack, Rescue 1122 reported.
According to the rescue officials, the first husband of a woman allegedly stabbed her second husband multiple times, resulting in his death.
Rescue 1122 received the emergency call and its ambulance reached the spot. The deceased was identified as 40-year-old Naseem Abbas, son of Sajjad Hussain. Multiple stab wounds were found on his body.
Rescue staff said the woman stated that she had divorced her first husband three years ago, and the suspect allegedly committed the crime due to grudge.
Police were present at the scene, and after completion of legal formalities, the body was shifted to Nishtar Hospital under police supervision.
