DERA ISMAIL KHAN:The Dera police on Sunday arrested a man who killed his sister in the name of ‘honour’ two days ago.
According to a police spokesman, Niaz Ullah had shot dead his 15-year-old sister here in the Bilalabad area just a day before her marriage was scheduled. After the crime, the accused escaped from the scene.
The case of the incident was registered at Cantt police station. A team from Cantt police station led by SDPO City Circle Hafiz Muhammad Adnan along with SHO Gulsher Khan arrested Niaz Ullah and recovered a 30-bore pistol from his possession which was used in the crime.
