RAWALPINDI:Waris Khan Police have arrested a man for making a fake robbery call on emergency helpline 15.
According to Police spokesperson, the caller had informed the emergency helpline about a robbery at his house.
However, during an investigation, Waris Khan Police found that no robbery had taken place.
The police registered a case against the caller and arrested him for making a false emergency call.
SP Rawal Bedar Bakht Gondal said that emergency helpline 15 was a facility provided to citizens in emergency situations, and its misuse would initiate legal action.
