GUJRAT:A man was killed on Friday after being struck by a passenger train near the Aduwal railway crossing.
According to Rescue 1122, the victim, identified as Muhammad Shabbir,48, son of Abdul Majeed, a resident of Service Mor, was hit by the Lahore-bound Mianwali Express coming from Mianwali.
He sustained severe traumatic injuries and died on the spot.
Rescue personnel completed medico-legal formalities and handed over the body to the bereaved family at their request.
