FAISALABAD: A youth shot dead his sister over suspicion in the area of Rodala police station.
A police spokesman said here on Saturday that Umar Farooq of Chak No.279-GB suspected that his sister had illegal relations with a youth, Sajid Ali, of the same locality.
Over this issue, an altercation occurred during which Umar Farooq opened firing and killed his sister, 25, on the spot. The police dispatched the body to mortuary for postmortem while an investigation is under progress, he added.
