WAH CANTT: Two armed bandits equipped with sophisticated weapons shot and injured a man over resisting robbery in the limits of Taxila Police station on Thursday.
Matiullah has reported to Police that he was going his house after work when two masked men equipped with sophisticated weapons intercepted him and on gunpoint snatched his cell phone and cash and when he resisted, the armed bandits shot him on his chest and fled away successfully on a motorcycle.
Moreover, in a day broad light robbery incident, two armed robbers on gunpoint cash worth Rs 0.2 million from a man in the same police station. Sher Rehman was going back after drawing cash from a private bank located on GT road when two persons riding a motorcycle intercepted him fired bullets in the air to create panic and stripped cash from him and fled away on a motorcycle.
Burglars broke in to an Imambargah in the same police station limits and took away donation box, CCTV system and other valuables.
Separately, a trader was deprived of cash worth Rs 1 million in the Wah Saddar Police station limits. Kazim has reported to police that he was going to his office after drawing cash from the local bank when two masked bandits intercepted his car and on gunpoint snatched money from him and fled away.
Tajmal Hussain reported to Police that a13 member gang of thieves stolen electric wire, motors, steel pipes and different machineries worth Rs 3 million from his factory located in small industrial estate.
