HYDERABAD: The Mayor of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) Kashif Ali Shoro has taken notice of the public complaints regarding shortage of filtered water supplied by Hyderabad Water and Sewerage Board Corporation (HW and SBC).
The mayor spokesman informed here on Tuesday that Shoro visited the corporation’s filtration plants on Jamshoro road, accompanied by Managing Director of HW and SBC Zahid Khemptio and other officials and consultants.
He told the officials that he was receiving complaints about shortage or lack of water supply from many parts of the city.
Shoro warned the officials that the prevailing situation of water supply shortfall would not be tolerated.
The Mayor asked the officials to make a comprehensive plan to issue all the bottlenecks causing disruption in the water supply.
