Quetta: Administrator Metropolitan Corporation Quetta (MCQ) and Commissioner Quetta Division Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat has issued directives to ban various activities in the territory of provincial capital.
The Administrator has prohibited the commercial activities in residential areas of Quetta and the residential buildings would not be used for commercial purposes.
The civic body has also proscribed the construction of commercial building and residential flats on agricultural land alongside the roads under construction of Quetta Development Package.
The establishment of commercial centers on land adjacent to roads constructed in Quetta Development Package without getting certificate/NOC from Deputy Commissioner Office Quetta will be prohibited.
The metropolitan corporation has restricted the construction of commercial buildings, plazas, flats in the city without prior approval and NOC from competent authority under Building Code and Balochistan Building Control and Town Planning Rules.
