KOHAT: Commissioner Kohat Division Parvez Khan Sabat Khel has directed district administrations and police to strengthen coordination, improve intelligence sharing and adopt a joint strategy to maintain law and order and protect public lives and property.
He issued these directives during a Divisional Security Committee meeting that was held to review security situation, counterterrorism measures and arrangements for public safety across the division.
Regional Police Officer Kohat Shakir Hussain Dawar, Deputy Commissioner Kohat Muhammad Nawaz Wazir, District Police Officer Rai Mazhar Iqbal and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
The meeting was briefed on the law and order situation, security arrangements and challenges in the districts. Participants discussed measures to improve counterterrorism efforts, strengthen coordination among relevant institutions and ensure the timely exchange of information to address potential security threats.
Commissioner Sabat Khel directed the district administrations and police to maintain close coordination and ensure continuous monitoring of security arrangements. He stressed the need for a coordinated approach to respond to potential threats and prevent untoward incidents.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment to strengthening institutional cooperation and taking joint measures to maintain peace and security in Kohat Division.
