Lahore: Punjab Livestock Minister Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani on Monday directed the Punjab Livestock and Dairy Development Board to present its future plan in the next meeting.
He presided over a meeting of the Punjab Livestock and Dairy Development Board and Punjab Agriculture and Meat Company here. He said there was need to make the Punjab Livestock and Dairy Development Board functional and effective.
He directed the board to utilize 1,000 acres of land under its control in a useful manner. Ashiq Kirmani issued instructions to convert the board place into fitness farm and compartment as this step would help the government to increase its income. He also directed the board to sale its stocked wheat at the earliest as it would help in improving financial condition of the board. The livestock secretary and others attended the meeting.
