Minister for starting consultation with stakeholders to solve issues

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Commerce and Industries, Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, Monday, announced to initiation series of engagements with representatives of chambers of commerce and industries across the province to solve problems of business and industrialist communities.

The minister, while chairing a meeting, directed for ensuring consultation with all the stakeholders to solve issues of industrial zones as well as linkages with relevant departments for timely completion of development projects in SITE areas.

Jam Ikramuulah Dharejo instructed to solve problems being faced by SITE employees on a priority basis.

He said that strict action should be taken against negligent and absent employees and a bio-metric system should be activated to ensure the attendance of the employees.

The minister informed that work was underway on the Industrial and Commerce Policy for sustainable development of the sectors.

Sindh Secretary Industry and Commerce Department Muhammad Yaseen Shar, MD SITE Ghazanfar Qadri and other
officers participated in the meeting.
