Minister Ramesh Arora extends greetings to Hindu community

Lahore:Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora has extended heartfelt greetings to the Hindu community in Pakistan on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

In his message, he stated that Raksha Bandhan is a symbol of love, protection, and brotherhood, reminding us of the values of sacrifice and safeguarding one another.

He highlighted that Raksha Bandhan reflects the eternal bond between brothers and sisters, where a sister prays for her brother’s long life and prosperity, and in return, the brother vows to protect and ensure his sister’s happiness. This festival promotes love and unity within families, which is the foundation of any strong society.

The Provincial Minister further emphasized that all religious and cultural minorities in Pakistan have complete freedom to celebrate their customs and traditions. The Government of Punjab is committed to protecting the rights of minorities and is taking all possible measures for their welfare, he added.

Ramesh Singh Arora also acknowledged the si
gnificant role played by members of the Hindu community in the development and prosperity of Pakistan, stating that the country’s progress would be unimaginable without their contribution. He prayed that this Raksha Bandhan brings a message of peace, prosperity, and brotherhood for all.
