Lahore: Provincial Minister Communications and Works Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharth inspected the ongoing road construction, rehabilitation and improvement works in Sahiwal and reviewed quality and pace of the development works.
The minister visited the road from N-5 to Chak 110/12-L-111/12-L via Chak 112/12-L and inspected the ongoing work. He also inspected the ongoing work on the road from Chak 1/14-L to 38/14-L.
On the occasion, the minister directed that immediate and special attention should be given to all under-construction roads. He further directed that no compromise should be made on the quality of construction works and safety measures.
He said that field officers and staff should remain present at construction sites and effective monitoring of contractors, along with immediate rectification of shortcomings, should be ensured.
