LAHORE:Punjab Minister for Communication and Works (CandW) Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharth on Monday chaired a meeting to review the ongoing construction and repair work on the carriageway of Ring Road Northern Loop.
Officials of the Ring Road Authority briefed the provincial minister on the progress of various development and rehabilitation works being carried out on the road.
The meeting was informed that seal coat work on the main carriageway of the Northern Loop was in progress. Road rehabilitation work to improve the durability of the main carriageway was also underway.
Similarly, rehabilitation work on the service road from Quaid-e-Azam Road to LEBP was in progress. The sub-base work under Packages I, II and III of the service road rehabilitation project had been completed.
Provincial Minister Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharth said practical measures were being taken for road rehabilitation and improvement to facilitate smooth and safe travel for commuters.
