KHANEWAL: A seven-year-old child drowned in Chenab river while playing on bank of the river. Rescuers said the child was playing at point called Kund Sargana situated near the river. Locals informed rescuers reached as soon as the child slipped into the water. The body was fished out after short time search operation conducted by divers. The deceased was identified as Tasawar, son of Manzoor Ahmad.
