MULTAN:Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Association for Biorisk Management (ABM) here on Wednesday.
Vice Chancellor MNSUA VC Dr Asif Ali and Programme Manager ABM Dr Javid Ali inked the MoU.
The agreement aimed at holding seminar and awareness workshop on transmission of diseases from animals to human beings.
Speaking on the occasion, Programme Manager ABM briefed the university team about targets and achievements of the ABM.
He informed that they had already signed MoUs with various universities, adding that it had also imparted training to over 50 varsities faculty members in the country.
VC MNSUA shed light on the lack of bio risk management in the country and stressed the need for paying special focus on it.
Chairman Vet and Animal Sciences Dr Junaid Ali Khan thanked the ABM for signing MoU with the varsity and hoped that it would help building capacity of the faculty.
