PESHAWAR:The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has setup mobile food testing laboratories at all seven divisional headquarters to curb menace of adulteration in food, milk and others products.
Officials in KP Food Department told reporter on Tuesday that these laboratories were setup at DIKhan, Bannu, Kohat, Peshawar, Mardan, Abbottabad and Swat.
The team would collect food and milk samplings from hotels, restaurants and milk shops for verification and testing purposes and would submit reports to concerned departments for actions.
The laboratories would also provide services to district administration, police, Halal Food Authority and others relevant departments.
On the basis of reports, the Government would take strict against elements involved in adulteration.
