Mobile library, Open Area School Phase II inaugurated

PESHAWAR:Provincial Caretaker Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education, Professor Dr. Qasim Jan here Tuesday inaugurated the mobile library and Open Area School Phase II under the Association of Business Professionals and Agriculture Women.

The inauguration was held in the Archives and Libraries Department and attended by the Director of Education, Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, Director of Business Professional and Agriculture Women, Dr. Bushra Rahim and concerned officials.

Speaking on the occasion, the caretaker minister stressed upon teachers to introduce modern technologies to students and enable them to meet the challenges of the emerging world. He also emphasized character building of children and made them follow rules and discipline.

The caretaker minister was told that the association of business professionals and agriculture women is providing facilities of mobile libraries to out-of-school children of Peshawar and tribal district Khyber besides imparting free education to children through Ujala School Network.

It was said that the association is also running a skill development center to strengthen women financially and explore new markets for products manufactured by them.

The minister lauded the efforts of the association and said that these activities should be extended to other areas of the province for the facilitation of children.
