KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Energy Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh said that the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for setting up a well equipped dialysis center in Shikarpur and it would alleviate the hardships of the needy people of Shikarpur district.
He was addressing as a chief guest here at the Sindh Energy Department office on the occasion of the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for setting up a Dialysis Center in Shikarpur.
On the occasion, representatives of Sindh Health Department, District officials of District Shikarpur and officials of Engro Energy Limited signed a MoU for setting up a dialysis center, as per MoU Engro Energy Limited which would provide a financial support for setting up a Dialysis Center at R B Adhao Das Tarachand Hospital (RBUTH).
Sheikh said that Sindh government’s health department in collaboration with Shikarpur district administration would provide financial assistance for setting up of Engro Energy Limited dialysis center and Dialysis Center would work under Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplant (SIUT).
He said that the special interest and cooperation of Dr. Adeeb Rizvi in this regard should also be appreciated.
He said “The establishment of dialysis center is an important step towards medical facilities in the district Shikarpur.”
