Larkana: Pakistan Peoples Party leader and member of the Sindh Assembly, Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh, on Thursday met with Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur Shakeel Ahmed Abro to discuss issues of Shikarpur.
During the meeting, matters related to the city’s development and public welfare were discussed in detail. This included initiating work on Kattle Colony, inaugurating the Ladies Club, holding a cultural festival along with restoring the Arts Council, promptly completing the Sports Complex, and considering proposals and potential steps regarding the upgrade of Khanpur Hospital and the construction of an overbridge near the RBUT Hospital.
Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh stated that joint efforts are needed to improve Shikarpur’s infrastructure and social facilities, while DC Shikarpur assured full cooperation in the city’s development projects.
Separately, Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh congratulated the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Sheikh Ayaz University, Dr. Naveed Ahmed Sheikh, and toured various faculties of the university.
