HYDERABAD: A three members team of the students of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro earned honor for Pakistan by clinching first position in Huawei global competition.
The university spokesman on Thursday informed that two teams of the Mehran University students department of Telecom participated in the competition along with173 teams and 143 countries of the world.
The team of Mehran University comprising of Satesh, Bhag Chand and Iqra Fatima clinched first position in the competition, he informed that the same students’ team had bagged first position in the qualifying competitions which held among the students of 13 countries including Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
The Vice Chancellor Mehran University Prof. Dr. Taha Hussain Ali congratulated the team members Satesh, Bhag Chand and Iqra Fatima and the supervisor Dr. Fahim Khuhawar on clinching the victory stand, the spokesman informed.
