Muzaffar Ali Shaikh takes over as acting IGP Sindh

KARACHI: Muzaffar Ali Shaikh has been appointed as the acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh during the leave of current IGP Ghulam Nabi Memon.

A notification from the Government of Sindh, issued on Tuesday, stated that Muzaffar Ali Shaikh, a BS-21 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan and the Additional Inspector General of Police for Finance, Logistics and Welfare in Karachi, will assume the acting role.

Ghulam Nabi Memon, also a BS-21 officer, has been granted a nine-day leave from July 23 to 31 to visit London for personal reasons.
