Bahawalpur:Preparations are in full swing for the bye-election in National Assembly Constituency NA-168, Bahawalpur, scheduled to be held tomorrow, Sunday, 27th of September 2026.
According to an official press release issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) here, preparations to hold NA-168 Bye-Election are completed with the distribution of election material to polling staff now underway. ‘A total of 483,143 registered voters will exercise their right to vote in the constituency. The electorate comprises 248,529 male voters and 234,614 female voters,’ it said.
It further said that the Election Commission has established 292 polling stations across the constituency, including 130 male polling stations, 130 female polling stations, and 32 combined polling stations. ‘For the by-election, 307 Presiding Officers and 941 Polling Officers and Assistant Presiding Officers have been deployed to conduct the polling process,’ it added.
To ensure the prompt resolution of complaints from voters and the general public, a provincial-level control room has been established.
