Islamabad: The National Assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution demanding an immediate investigation into the off-loading of documented passengers at various airports across the country.
The resolution, moved by Syed Rafiullah, urged the government to take prompt action to examine cases where passengers with valid travel documents were off-loaded without clear justification.
The resolution recommended the administrative reforms to ensure transparency, accountability and the protection of passenger rights, while improving communication so that all off-loading decisions are lawful and properly documented.
