Abbottabad: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Abbottabad has recovered Rs830,000 in an electronic fraud case and returned the amount to the affected citizen.
The successful recovery was made under the supervision of Circle In-charge Wahab Ahmed as part of the agency’s efforts to investigate complaints of electronic and cyber-related financial fraud.
According to the NCCIA, the investigation into the case was conducted by Investigating Officer (IO) and SHO Muhammad Shakir, who completed the investigation and facilitated the recovery of the fraudulently obtained amount.
Following the recovery, a cheque amounting to Rs830,000 was formally handed over to the complainant during a ceremony at the NCCIA office.
The agency reiterated its commitment to taking action against those involved in electronic fraud and ensuring the recovery of illegally obtained funds for affected citizens.
