Peshawar: Almost one million people have benefited from the Sehat Card Program in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last 11 months, according to official figures.
The program provided free medical treatment to citizens in both public and private hospitals across the province, helping patients overcome financial barriers to healthcare.
A large number of beneficiaries received treatment for serious illnesses, while many others availed basic medical services.
Officials said most patients were treated in government hospitals, while a significant number also received care at private healthcare facilities.
The Sehat Card Program continues to play an important role in providing free healthcare and improving access to medical services for the people of the province.
