ATTOCK: In Bhallar Jogi village within the jurisdiction of Hassan Abdal Police Station, an incident occurred where a nephew injured his uncle with an axe over a dog dispute on Monday.
According to local police, Abdul Rasheed reported that his nephew had kept some pet dogs at his house. On the mentioned day, one of the dogs broke its cage and entered his house, causing distress to the female members of the household.
When Abdul Rasheed attempted to remove the dog, his nephew Shafqat, accompanied by his friend Abbas, barged into the house and attacked him with an axe in retaliation for disciplining the dog. The assailants then fled the scene.
The victim was subsequently transported to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Hassanabdal for medical treatment.
Police have filed a case against the accused and have initiated further investigation into the matter.
