Lodhran:Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) UFG Control Task Force raided and disconnected nine more connections including two commercial ones over violations.
According to details, one consumer’s meter was found being used in a school, while another residential consumer’s meter was being used at a samosa shop. Both meters were disconnected, and further departmental action has been recommended.
In another case, a consumer’s meter was found on non-billing and was still installed on-site. The meter was also disconnected and departmental action was recommended.
Additionally, two consumers’ meters were found suspicious due to seal tampering, and those meters were sent to the lab after being disconnected.
Four consumers’ meters were found tampered with due to broken counters, and their meters were also disconnected with recommendations for further departmental action.
The task force team also removed extensions from five homes that were found illegally supplying gas to multiple households.

o a report, the task force imposed over Rs six lac fine in July. Additionally, the task force special recovery team recovered Rs 1,30,000.
