MULTAN:Nishtar Medical University (NMU) Department of Gynaecologist conducted a one-day workshop on unsafe abortion in Ward no 16 here on Friday.
A large number of postgraduate students, senior faculty members, and consultants participated in the workshop.
In this workshop organized under the patronage of Dr. Mehnaz Khakwani, Chairperson, NMU Department of Gynaecology, , awareness was provided on various aspects regarding unsafe abortion.
Dr. Manzah Khalid Admin Registrar Ward 16 informed the participants about family planning including the complications and remedies of unsafe abortion. Later, a question- answers session was also organized with Dr. Mehnaz Khakwani.
The participants of the workshop were also imparted practical training on legal and safe abortion methods.
