Multan: The Nishtar Medical University (NMU) organised a one-day workshop focusing on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to assess and improve academic quality.
Titled ‘AI in Educational Quality Assurance using AI-Driven Feedback Analysis,’ the workshop was held at the Syndicate Hall of the university and was attended by a large number of faculty members.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mehnaz Khakwani was the chief guest, while Professor Dr. Rashid Qamar Rao, Principal of Nishtar Medical College, attended as the guest of honour. The workshop was facilitated by Professor Dr. Shamila Hameed, Dr. Hamid Hassan, Dr. Ali Rabbani, Dr. Faiza Ikram, and Dr. Maryam Khan. Guest speaker Professor Dr. Zahra Nazish delivered a detailed presentation on analyzing educational feedback, interpreting data, and formulating practical recommendations through AI-driven tools.
Addressing the participants, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mehnaz Khakwani said that the integration of modern technologies and artificial intelligence in educational institutions can play a pivotal role in improving teaching standards and academic outcomes. She appreciated the efforts of the organizers for holding the workshop on such a critical subject and later distributed certificates among the organizers and participants.
