Islamabad:One person was killed over a long-standing property dispute in the Landhi area of Karachi on Thursday.
According to police, the victim was killed by his elder brother, who attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon and opened fire, a local news channel reported.
Upon receiving information, a police team rushed to the crime scene and arrested the suspect, identified as Waheed Dad.
The police confirmed that the two were biological brothers who had been involved in a property dispute for a long period.
Police also recovered the pistol used in the firing and the sharp-edged weapon from the suspect’s possession.
Further investigation into the incident is underway.
